Bertie leads the BWC team, with a particular focus on consumer, deep-tech and fintech. Prior to this, he had a career in trading with Goldman Sachs & Susquehanna International Group before moving over into venture investing with Blenheim Chalcot. There, he funded startups like Modulr, ClearScore & Instrumental, whilst also taking part-time operational positions within the portfolio at Salary Finance & AVADO.

Jai started working in venture at university, where he joined Creator Fund and instigated investments into BaseImmune & Suji BFR. He later gained operating experience working as employee number 1 at Y Combinator-backed Refund Giant, and as Chief of Staff at ClearGlass.

Nathan studied Economics at the University of Cambridge. Since graduating, he has worked across operations, strategy, and product in both VC-backed and bootstrapped startups in the PropTech and Private Members’ Club industries.

Andrei is an entrepreneur with experience in corporate strategy, M&A, early-stage technology investing, and the founding and building of several commercial and non-profit organisations. As well as founding BWC, he played a key role in launching Hoxton Ventures, Isomer Capital & Semantic Ventures. Andrei is also a committed philanthropist. He started a/political eight years ago, which has developed into a distinctive organisation working with acclaimed artists and partners worldwide with a remit to produce projects and provide residencies for the development of, and education around, socially engaged art.
